LIVE FIELD TRIP
Southern California Mountains June 21-23
Please join us for this unique opportunity to study the medicinal plants of Southern California’s middle elevation mountains. We will learn how to identify, harvest, prepare, and apply a number of clinically valuable medicinals within the frameworks of Western and Chinese herbal medicine and also explore traditional approaches to the use of the region’s flora.
This excursion requires simple “car camping,” hiking, and the ability to endure long trails of flowers, fragrant herbs, and the whisper of the trees. Those who would prefer to spend their weekend indoors with computers and iPhones should seriously consider whether or not this is an appropriate trip for you. Food and transportation are not provided, but we will be setting up car-pooling. Those interested in car-pooling should contact Jared Andersen, L.Ac.
