Our Bioregional Herbalism series features great herbalists from around the country who possess the common denominators of being practitioners, educators, and wildcrafters (if this is a new term to you it means they harvest their own plant medicine in the wild).

We've asked these herbalists to feature some of their favorite plants that they use regularly and that they harvest close to the time of year in which the lecture will initially be offered. We've chosen the herbalists teaching because they represent a variety of regions of the United States and also because they represent a variety of styles of practice and views of the body. These short classes will be offered cyclically around typical herbal harvesting cycles 3 or 4 times a year so please stay tuned for this celebration of botanical diversity and pluralism in the practice of herbal medicine.
