FREE Introduction to the Treatment of Mental Health Conditions with Herbal Medicine

This free class will survey both the existing evidence base for the application of botanical medicine and Western and East Asian traditional herbal approaches to the treatment of several mental health conditions. Benjamin Zappin, L.Ac. will give case examples to illustrate these varied therapeutic perspectives and to help participants more clearly understand the role of herbal remedies in the management of anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, and addiction.

This is an excellent introduction for psychotherapists, psychiatrists, social workers, or any other health care professional who might be interested in better understanding how to bring comfort to their patients lives with gentle yet profound botanical remedies.

This is also a great course for herbalists practicing Western or Chinese traditions or methods who would like to look over the fence to see how the other is thinking and practicing!
