Bio-Regional Herbalism with CoreyPine Shane

Bio-Regional Herbalism

Our bioregional herbalism series features great herbalists from around the country who possess the common denominators of being practitioners, educators, and wildcrafters (if this is a new term to you it means they harvest their own plant medicine in the wild).
CoreyPine is Director of the Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine and has spent the past 15-plus years helping clients by artfully blending Chinese and Western herbal traditions with a focus on local plants. As a seasoned wildcrafter he has extensive knowledge of local plant ID as well as medicine making. He has taught at many national conferences, written on herbal medicine, and is a professional member of the American Herbalists Guild. CoreyPine believes that laughter is an essential part of any medicine chest, which is why he is a part of the “Wise Guy” school of healing.

Sylvan Institute of Botanical Medicine and Passiflora Press produce a quarterly journal of botanical medicine. It is free to download, share, and print. However we do ask that you sign up for future issues as it will not always be offered from this area and we wouldn't want you to miss out on anything.
